Need help please can't figure out misfire

Ok I'm a new owner of a late model 99 7.3 ill start from beginning to end bought the truck drives great put a ts performance chip on it and air intake still runs great all was well went to start truck up and wouldn't start so not thinking about the CPs sensor I pulled the ts chip but had my batteries hooked up and my keys in the ignition I know stupid of me cooked the PCM got a new updated computer and CPs sensor truck fired up so now when I went to take off under throttle my truck started to misfire down the street but when warmed up would go away but it would still surge about 2500 rpms at WOT need help things I've already replace to try to fix this problem valve cover gaskets and harness some injectors two pcms please help its my daily driver but should I get a idm and try it or would this just be a waste of money?

Did you check the pushrods? You should be able to spin them each around by hand. Make sure they can spin a full 360 degrees, if not pull and check. Ive had bent pushrods that cause similar issues.

Ill pull the valve cover again and check the pushrods next I appriciate the response thank you. Will the pushrods cause it to misfire more at startup because when it warms up it practically goes away but misfires here and there when hot also it doesn't white smoke out the exhaust I thought bent pushrods would make it white smoke
