99 F350 Engine shuts off and then starts running again
On the interstate this morning the truck "burped", looked down and all of my dash lights were on. This lasted about 2 or 3 seconds. The engine then came to life again. It did this once more a mile or so later. Finally a couple of miles later, it died. I pulled over to the side of the road and before coming to a stop, I was able to start it again with the starter. It has run fine since then, about 50 miles. I installed a DP Tuner F5 chip about three weeks ago. I called Jody and he told me that if the chip lost connection the truck would do what it's doing and that the F5 switch would recycle on and I would see it on the switch. I didn't notice the switch when all this was happening but will keep an eye on it if it does it again. The PCM Board is clean and the chip was tight and secure when installed. I just had the CPS recall done a few days ago and that's what I'm wondering about. Does this sound like a bad CPS?

AND?
My truck is doing the same thing and had a chip installed about 2-3 weeks ago. It feels like a fuel filter problem. But that is based on driving an old mustang. If it was my old mustang, i would check filter and then adjust carb. But this 7.3 diesel is new to me and i'm not good at diagnosing . Any help would be GREAT. I can't afford for my truck to take a few days off. Thanks
