99 7.3 dies

Hey guys i am trying to help my buddy out here. He just bought a 99 f250 psd, it needed a motor, he and his dad put a motor in it and it runs... untill you start driving it then it will die and not restart untill it has cooled down. He claims to not be losing cam signal or oil pressure, i am not sure about fuel press. though... Any help or suggestions you guys got would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Sounds like a CPS to me I would try that worst cause scenerio they have a spare for the glove box. Just my opinion

thanks i know the cps is a very common prob, you still think it could be that even though it doesn't lose tach signal according to the scan tool

Imo sounds like a fuel problem. for a tech to help you.

Its a RECAL go to your local dealer.

Aftermarket will crap out on you.

Its happened on my 99 psd
