Injector Down?

2003 E350 7.3 Last week coming up Loveland Pass I came to a stop in some traffic and I stalled. Start right back up but was smoking bad. Ran pretty ruff then cleared up on the way down. I ran my AE when I got back home and #7 was jumping all over on predels. Today it would go to 15.5 and back to 0.00 over and over at idle. I popped the valve cover off, started it up and pulled the #7 plug, no idle change, I pulled #5 and idle dropped. It was ticking pretty loud, this is after the engine warmed up. I could still see some oil coming out of the spout. Would a dying injector tick and make the idle wander. Thanks guys. Got a new one over nighted but need some reassurance.
