My 2000 F250 7.3 wont start. I drove it last night then this morning i went out, put the key in and let the glow plugs warm up. The light went off so i turned the key and the truck just went click once. The batteries are at full charge. it just wont turn over, everything else works before i try to crank it.

See if you have power to the starter, tap it with a hammer, but sounds like a starter

those starters have 2 solinods the one on the side of the fender and one on the starter like a chev and sometime the conection on the small wire gets some corrosion and you will get the click from the one on the fender but the power is not engaging the starter solinod try wiggleing the small wire on the starter its just a push on so even pull it off and clean it ... if that makes no difference than you can jump it across from the big wire to the small one with a screw driver if this doesn't wore then its starter time.... oh ya check for power at the big wire on the starter first!

if u wasnt having trouble w/your starter than it should be fine. sounds like a corroded batt. connection to me. muddancer has the right idea, check the wires on the pass. front panel. make sure they clean and connected and the solenoid aint burnd out. if alls good there go to batterys next check, clean, and tighten cables. if alls good there then go to starter. check all connections and clean them on the solenoid. no reason to go buy a starter first when all this can be done w/almost no cost first.

If it is auto transmission, move shifter to N and retry.
