this is a 2000 f250 and will not start cold and i don't mean cold weather just cold start it can be 20 or 80 does not matter I've had it in and scaned but Myself and my repair tech are at our witts end. this is a list of new stuff new glow plugs new relays new valve cover gaskets new injectors all 8 new IDM. 2 new batterys it has 800 + psi at cranking the restences are in line. This is not my first powerstroke and its not too cold it should not need to be plugged in at the temps that it wont start i can't drive this truck because i shut it off and go into work and it won't start when i come out even in the summer someone please help me I love my fords but i hate this truck and am considering trading it in for a dodge.

you said you changed the relays.. the only thing that i can think of is there is a relay that decides how long the glow plugs warm up for and how long the "wait to start light" stays on. Ive heard of this going out and not letting your glow plugs stay on long enough. My truck has a hard time starting in cold weather but i turn the key on, wait for the "wait to start" light to go off and turn it off, repeating this 4 or 5 times, it will start. Maybe you didnt change that relay....other than that, I dont know

ORRRR you said it ran good for a couple days after you changed the gaskets MAYBE that harness in there is gettin worn and flaky... maybe u bumped the harness changing the gaskets and it got a good connection for a bit... that happened in my 99.5 and it ran vey good after i fix that.
