CPS Eater

Ok it is easier to link you to the trama than go thru it all over again but the short of it is cam sensor failing as fast as they can be replaced! No face contact involved.Oh in case you don't know me I'm a professional shop working on plenty of these for over 10 years & nothing like i'm going thru with my own!

Thanks for the info!

is there any possibility you have a bent trigger wheel or a loose camshaft thrust bearing?? i see you said no face contact, but it is still possible to take the magnet within the sensor out withe a too small airgap. Im grasping at straws here, dont get me wrong but it is a very slight possibility....

thats about all i can come up with off the top of my head man......the only other thing i could see as a very slight possiblility is the port for the sensor is not casted in the proper spot and the sensor isnt getting a true signal, but i would expect drivablility problems with that senerio...

any of these are unlikely possibilities though, although i guess that comes with strange problems...

i had one about seven months ago. It didnt eat them, but threw intermittant codes that four dealers tried to get rid of. It ended up being a walking cam, but that motor had 260k on it.......and it never had a stall once.....
