6.0 Powerstroke VGT cycling while driving

Hey, I've got a 2005 F350 6.0 Powerstroke with 138,000, just had a EGR delete done and the turbo replaced with one off of a 07 with 40,000 miles. The VGT turns on and off while driving it causing the truck to fall on it's face. It runs awesome when the vgt turns on. I already tried doing a VGT relearn and it still didn't solve the problem. I currently have the egr valve plugged in but out of the intake just to keep the check engine light off. I don't know what else to check, it's really starting to piss me off, hopefully someone can help me.
Thanks, Adam

Sounds like either the VGT solenoid is bad/sticking or the pigtail is loose or busted or frayed wires and needs replaced.

Oh yeah .
