2003 f350 6.0 lariat turbo issue?
hello powerstroke.org
id like to post my question and maybe someone might help me here. my truck is blowing blue/white smoke like crazy and my friends all said the turbo was shot. the truck is in another city right now and i need to bring it home asap to get it looked at and fixed by someone i trust with my truck. my question is. if it is an issue with the turbo would it be possible to completely remove the it for a few hours so i can drive the truck home? i looked into getting a tow truck to bring it here along with the empty trailer and it costs about the same price as the turbo itself.. also, could this be something else? a sensor telling the truck to spit diesel and keep the turbo open constantly? broken injector? thank you to whoever replies |

Theres no way to remove teh turbo and drive it. All teh exhaust has to run thru teh turbo. Are there any codes ? Can u read codes if any ? Find a buddy with a truck and trailer.
