2003 f350 6.0 lariat turbo issue?

hello powerstroke.org
id like to post my question and maybe someone might help me here. my truck is blowing blue/white smoke like crazy and my friends all said the turbo was shot. the truck is in another city right now and i need to bring it home asap to get it looked at and fixed by someone i trust with my truck.
my question is. if it is an issue with the turbo would it be possible to completely remove the it for a few hours so i can drive the truck home?
i looked into getting a tow truck to bring it here along with the empty trailer and it costs about the same price as the turbo itself..
also, could this be something else? a sensor telling the truck to spit diesel and keep the turbo open constantly? broken injector?
thank you to whoever replies

Theres no way to remove teh turbo and drive it. All teh exhaust has to run thru teh turbo. Are there any codes ? Can u read codes if any ? Find a buddy with a truck and trailer.

ill try finding someone with a king pin in their bed and try bringing it home. sucks how i cant bypass the turbo and just run a straight pipe from the exhaust so i can at least drive it home
