04 injector problems

I replaced #7 a couple months ago, just replaced #5 and #8 and now its still missing, low power, grey smoke, no cel but code p0282. if i unplug #7 it doesnt change how the truck runs. i touched the wires going to #8 and it stopped missing for a few seconds then went back to missing and ive tried wiggling the wires some more but i could never get it to stop missing again. sometimes it will have a code for #7 contribution/balance. bad FICM? bad injector? bad wiring harness? or maybe some rev-x to fix stiction?

Quick question, it's not popping through the intake right? Sounds like it could be a wiring harness issue, can you see any obvious signs of abrasion/damage to it?

like back firing? No. I am going to pull the degas bottle off and check all my wiring harness on the driverside and pull the injector from number 7 and see if i can get it warrantied. I bought it from City Diesel in Decatur Al. Do any of y'all happen to know the warranty period on one of their industrial injection reman injectors? or maybe its sticting, would rev-x fix it? and can someone inform me of all the common places for the chafing of the harness? also i pulled the glow plugs and they were all covered in oil or wet soot. could that indicate a major problem?
I just drove the truck about 10 miles and it barely has any power. slight greyish smoke coming from the exhaust intermittently , missing, and holding gear to about 2900 rpm regardless of pedal position. the degas bottle has busted several times and soaked the ficm, think some coolant could have gotten in there and fried something? still no CEL but codes P0281 cylinder 7 contribution/balance, P0282 cyl 8 injector low voltage, P0683 Glow plug control module no communication to PCM, and P1000 OBD2 Readiness test incomplete.

Is there anyone close to me that would mind to ride out and give me a hand? it would be greatly appreciated.

Check the pins on the harness going to the injector. I just bought an 04 excursion with a dead miss. Barely got out of its way driving it home on 7 cylinders. It ended up being a pin, in the connector that plugs into the injector, that backed out a bit where it wasn't making any connection with the injector pin. Pushed it back in, carefully plugged it back in, and it runs like a champ. I was getting codes for cylinder 8 contribution and low voltage.
