2001 7.3 wont start, 75degrees outside

cut the truck off and it wouldnt start 20 minutes later, turns and turns but wont run. there is a clicking noise coming from the dash area, checked GPR and it tested good. any ideas?

I'd put money on the the fact it's got drained batteries. The clicking behind the dash is probably just the relays. Use a voltmeter and check the voltage while sitting and cranking, or just do this for good measure...

Remove all 4 terminals, put a battery charger on one side. Clean the CRAP out of the other side, and reinstall the cables and use protectant. Put the charger on the side you just worked on and then clean the other side just like the first.

Let it charge until the batteries are >11 volts while cranking.

Crank Shaft Posistion Sensor if you can hook jumper cables to it and it might start and run (REALLY LOW RPMS) 250 RPMS

batteries are weak, i agree , might even need replacing
