2004 F250 6.0 rough running, raw fuel out of the exhaust

I have an 04 f250 and i got in it one day to start it up and ran fan for a few seconds then started missing, it acted like an injector. I done an injector buzz test and there were no codes. when i left the shop where i done the test, on my way home it died and wouldnt crank back. it acted like it wanted to but it never would. when I got it home, i tried cranking it and it started but was missing really badly, pouring grayish smoke and liquid diesel out of the exhaust. I done another buzz test but still no codes, but i could never hear number 8 click. so i replaced number 8 injector. I started it and it ran fine for a few seconds and then went back to missing and pouring raw fuel out off the exhaust. I just replaced number 7 injector a few weeks ago. its had head gaskets before. I think around 120k its got 211k now. no egr delete, studs, ect. I'm also running a Diablo.

I had two injectors stick open at different times, BOTH sounded exactly like what you described. Maybe your Diablo isn't picking up the codes. I doubt that the FICM is hanging the injectors open.

Regardless, choppy-crappy idle/grey smoke/fuel has been a 2 for 2 stuck open injector on my truck.

did yours act like it hydro-locked sometimes?

I pulled the fuel filter out to see how it looked and i had someone turn the key on and when the fuel was entering the housing it had a LOT of bubbles in it? Is this normal?

the intake pipes have slight oil residue on them, the truck has 211k. think its time for a turbo too?

Its a bone stock engine with a suncoast trans. still has egr valve, egr cooler, ect.

when i get it to crank, it will idle for a few seconds with a slight miss, the miss slowly gets worse, then it starts to sound like an old 12 valve cummins running on 3 cyl, then dies. this all happens with in 30 sec. then it has to sit for about 30 minutes before i can get it to start again.

Ill see if my boss will let me borrow his Modis and Ill post all the live data and KOEO codes.

It has a code (Diablo) now for the Glow Plug Control Module to PCM circuit malfunction. And a code for the OBD2 readiness not complete.

I changed it back to the stock tune and it made no differecne.

(sorry for the long post) but does anyone else have problems with their degas bottle cracking by the hose on the bottom? i have put 3 on my truck (one which was Motocraft) and all 3 have cracked in the same place. could the cracked bottle have gotten coolant into the FICM and caused damage?
