No power

I went to work this morning and truck ran like a dream but when I tried to leave had to jump it well then half way to school I lost all power to the dash radio and lights. I got to school and as soon as I turned on the lights the truck died. Do you think its batteries went dead or computer. The day before the door ajar light stayed on then when I disconnected the batteries it stopped doing it do you think these are tied together or two separate issues
