Ok, I am no mechanic and can not find anyone willing to come out and work on this truck. So here is my problem.
I have a 95 f-450 hydraulic dump truck (7.3 turbo D) with 150k miles. The truck starts up and runs fine at idle. The truck also drives fine, but after driving for 5-10 minutes then slowing down the truck stalls. Once the truck has stalled out it will not restart for about 2 hours. After 2 hours you can start her right up and she drives fine, that is until you stop again. Anyone know what is causing this, or have any idea of what this sounds like. |

does your tachometer move when you try to crank it?? if not, your CPS is probably failing.
also, check the oil level in your HPOP (high pressure oil pump) have you changed your fuel/air filters lately?? have you used injector cleaner lately?? |
