01 7.3 LEFT FRONT CYCLINDER COLD

I have a 2001 7.3 spitting out a code 1316...I have checked and swapped the injectors from 1 to 3 still cold on the front cylinder checked the conector in the valve cover gasket seems ok. the problem started with a backfire. I was in the throttle let off at 85 and it backfired and is now missing on number 1 cyclinder.... the only real code I'm getting is a 1316 IDM I also removed the glow plug and cranked the engine seems to have lots of compression I 'm gonna try to get a compression tester tomorow.any help would sure be apreciated Thanks JJ
