hard stutter, cel, wts light while driving

I am about to sell this truck. I have had an intermittent problem with the engine cutting out for a brief second like it is totally losing power. It bucks pretty badly when it happens. It always precedes a CEL with lope mode. When this happens I have to throw it into neutral, turn it off and back on and it will go back to normal. Somewhere in this pattern, the WTS light will come on while the truck is running. I will lay off the pedal and the light will turn off. Then I can start driving normally again. Tonight the WTS light began to flicker like it was shorting somehow. I was supposed to travel from College Station to San Antonio tonight, but it started doing this so badly that I had to turnaround and go back.

Whenever I get this problem the truck throws a 1211 code. This time I went to read the dtc's with my supertuner and it said "too many DTC'S". That means it had more than 21 codes. I'm thinking its a short. Help me before I torch this thing!
