SES LIGHT

I HAVE A 2000 F350SD 7.3 STACKED WITH A BD XPOWER XXX CHIP AND AN EDGE EZ MODULE. WHEN TRUCK SHIFTS INTO OVERDRIVE UNDER HARD ACCLERATION IT SETS THE SES LIGHT FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES AND THEN GOES OUT. DO YOU THINK THE TRUCK IS DEFUELING THEN? I HAVE READ ABOUT A DFUSER VALVE THAT LETS PRESSURE OF OF THE MAP SENSOR HOSE WHEN BOOST PRESSURE IS TO HIGH. I WAS THINKING THIS COULD ALSO BE MY PROBLEM. HAS ANY ONE EVER EXPERIENCED THIS OR USED ONE OF THESE VALVES OR KNOW OF A DIFFERENT WAY TO KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING. SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS IF THE TRUCK IS IN 2ND GEAR THEN DOWN SHIFTS TO FIRST THEN BACK TO SECOND GEAR. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.TRUCK ALSO HAS BANKS BIG HEAD WASTGATE ACTUATOR, COMPRESSOR WHEEL,BANKS TRANS COMMAND.

Send a message via Yahoo to Dave
It could be an overboost code or could be 1211 code. those are what i would think. but since it is happening when it is shifting the code be tranny related. I would have codes pulled and go from there

Sounds like an over boost code. Yes a "blow off" valve will fix the problem if it is an overboost code. Have the code checked to make sure.
