7.3 auto tranny 130k truck started idling and driving rough, and i mean rough it has a very hard vibration at idle and when driving truck has absolutly no power when driving, check engine light is on and gives a code for fuel pump pressure just changed the oil 1000 miles ago, im really concerend only thing that was done to it was the previous owner programmed it on the lowest setting for the programmer and help is much appreciated not muc i can do now i need my truck for work

at idle it hesistates to raiese the rpms and i dont hear the turbo winding up like i could before

If you can get it scanned again for codes and post them up. It could be lots of things but with the codes it can point you in the right direction. Its possible its fuel pressure and you could get a fuel pressure test done or it could be the under the valve cover harness coming unplugged also. Hate to tell you to do somthing without the codes. If you can clear the codes and drive it again and then see what code or codes reappear.

well the odd thing is before i could drive it i would take it to the mechanic and i would get there and the check engine light wouldnt be on anymore it turns on and off intermitently but now its been on for a solid 4 days and before it would only come on when i would push it full throttle up in to or past 100mph but after a few hours the light would shut off then wouldnt be a problem, now its struggling to raise the rpms theres little or no turbo spool any help is appreciated on what it could possibly be

Even when the light goes out you have codes stored. Also with a tuner you might be overboosting and defueling if your running it up to 100mph. Does the truck fall on its face when the light comes on when you are really on it. That still doesn't address your problem now. Really my advice is get it scanned for codes so you not throwing parts and your time at not fixing the problem.

when the light comes on it still runs peachy ive never noticed any performance problems before when the light came on
