7.3L powerstroke fuel leak from bell housing wheep hole?
Does anyone know why I would be leaking fuel out of the bell housing when in idle? I'm kinda lost on why it would be leaking out of there.

It's actually coming from up top, collecting in the valley and draining at the bellhousings hole in the back. Could originate from several places (fuel bowl, yellow water drain valve, chafed line (pass side rear clip to the head is common), anywhere there's pressurized fuel).
You have to figure-out the source, start it up and climb up on top of the motor with a strong flashlight. Clean off what you can, the entire topside if possible, to tell new from old.... |
