dead 7.3L

I need some help. looking at a 2003 F550 with a 7.3L . the motor has no compression and the high pressure oil pump is bad(per the ford tech said after hooking up his computer) not sure if im looking at a whole motor swap or heads and high pressure pump. Thank you for your help

How did you verify the compression and how many miles on the motor is it stock ?

All I know at this point is what the ford tech told the guy I bought the truck from. I plan to pull the heads next week.

I'd be ready to do a full rebuild. Most likely sounds like they didn't keep up with maintenance so it's hard to say what all may be involved down the road.

currently driving a 335i bmw, no more powerstoke

Previous powerstrokes-
2002- F250 XL 7.3 auto, 4x4
2001- F250 Lariat 7.3 auto, 4x4
2002- F350 Lariat 7.3 Dually, auto, 4x4. 141k miles
