Engine idles a little rought but after 20/30 sec of revving at 2000 rpm the engine will die. It takes about 5 to 6 cranks for it to start back. But when the engine is dying out u can give it more fuel and it will revv up but will eventually die. No codes. I have replace fuel pump, cleaned fuel bowl and the pice on the side of the bowl, replaced all the rubber lines and changed IDM with a friends. Any thoughts? |

There's not a lot of stuff that will cause an engine to run rough, die, and slow restart and Not set some kind of code, EXCEPT fuel delivery (no code set when you run dry)
So, maybe start there. Next time it dies, open the drain lever and see if the usual amount of fuel flows out. That will help you determine if the problem is from the tank to the bowl... You might also want to get a fuel press gauge on it and monitor the fuel pressure as it happens. |
