No power to the starter relay
Ok so heres the issue. I converted my truck to a 12v cummins, I wired up my trans computer and engine wire harness. Before the install of the harnesses I was able to hit the key and start the truck. After I hooked up the PCS trans computer harness to the trans I now cannot use the key to start the truck, I can hot wire the trucks starter solenoid and it will go. That is until I got home from work this morning and it appears I have a drain somewhere. This is in a 03 excursion and was done properly not just a hack job, but somewhere I believe in the trans harness I missed something. I checked gear indicator wires safety switch etc. all ok. when I hit the key the starter will clunk and you can see the flywheel turn about a quarter inch then its done. I also laid under the truck and tested to see if the solenoid was getting power when the key was held in the start position and it showed no power. So now I also tested my fuses for power with the key off to look for the drain. I had the door open and it appears that fuses f2.1-roughly f2.17 all have power(basically all interior accesories) do these normally have power all the time at the fuse box?
