2000,7.3 stalls when breaking

i have a 2000 7.3 6spd, that runs rough and wonts to stall when breaking hard, or on a down hill slope...it feels like a IDM but only dosit when its tipped down or breaking.
is there a vaper tank?
it has a new fuel filter
and good crank oil

No vapor Lock,,, If you think it's actually forward "Gs" (as in braking hard) then I'd be thinking a connection somewhere. Maybe look around the engine for chafed wires on the underside of things like the Valve Covers or other places where you might have had a rub-through.

It's not like liquids could be "sloshing" I don't think, more like you should be shaking everything you can under the hood to try to duplicate what happens when braking while it's running...

thats where im at now i think liquds are not the prob becuse it recovers instantly when on flat groung,
checking relays tps wire harness, but still cant find the loose brass nut on the ipr that people are talking about my regulater is threaded right into the fuel rall on the driverside

Stalling could be related to the Torque Converter not unlocking while braking which will stall the truck out. If you are looking for the brass nut on the IPR it is down in the valley of the engine attatched to the High Pressure Oil Pump ( HPOP ) on the drivers side of pump underneath the fuel bowl
