7.3 cranks no start

keeps blowing 30a ignition fuse.any idea where to start looking for short?

Sure. it's actually an easy one

Unplug the Fuel Heater Element in the bottom of the Filter Housing.

Over the Summer, that element has rotted through and only now, with the colder weather, is the PCM turning it on. So, it's blowing the fuse and keeping the PCM itself from powering-up. Replace the fuse (with the heater unplugged) and you should be good-to-go.

MANY people never replace that element and have no trouble at all so, there's no problem if you drive it that way for a while...

thanks for input found out that heater was on same circuit.changed it out[obvious bare wire was showing].was getting nervous going on a 5 day chukar @phe3asant hunt.
