Cranks no start
6.0 cranks and no start.
Disconnected ICP and same issue just cranks and no start. Only things I have done between now and last start was find the key code for the door. It has started with no issue in the last 14days. Added a very very small amount of starting fluid and it fired up and ran for a good hour. Shut it off and restarted without any issues, didn't wait a long time. My theory is to test the ficm and connect my fluke to the ICP and read the voltages. ICP and harness are new, glow plugs were replaced the other day with some dieselRX ones and new harnesses. oil change with T6 and rev-x was also done. Driven in the last week cold start and all without plug in and no issues. Sent from my SGH-I777 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

What year truck? You have any way to monitor ICP pressure and IPR valve?

I don't know about IPR valve, is that an ecu/OBD only? Thanks for the help. |

You can monitor it with AE but you need to be able to watch ICP and IPR together. I'm working on one right now that I'm almost positive is a bad HPOP but not 100% sure yet. AE has already paid for itself and I've only had it for 3 weeks. What year is truck?

Its a early 2004, engine build date is per 09/2003.
I just went out and it fired right up with no issues. Sent from my SGH-I777 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

Get it to operating temp then shut it off, let it sit for 5 minutes and see if it restarts.

I did that, started.
I went back four hours later after sitting and it started. Went to bed came back and it started. Is there any fluke thing that could be going on here causing it not to start? |
