6.0 no start with white smoke comming from tail pipe

I have a 2005 6.0 with an egr delete that will not start and has white smoke coming from the tail pipe, hooked up a snapon scanner to it, everything looks good except for the EOT's truck is dead cold but it is reading 295 any ideas how to check to see if it is a bad sensor? before i go on a shopping spree

If its reading 295 and the engine is cold the sensor is bad for one. But if your getting white smoke from the exhaust while cranking it over than you either have too much fuel in the cylinders from a stuck open injector or you have coolant in the cylinders.

ended up being the EOT sensor that was doing a no start, changed it out and now it runs like a champ!

The white smoke was likely unburnt fuel from overcranking.
