I have had my 7.3 for about 2 months now and the engine has died on me about 10 times and i can't figure it out. there is no certain thing that makes it do it.
![]() First 5-6 times was in one late night hauling boats back and forth to the Boatshow in cold weather, towing about 4-5 thousand pounds, I was pulling in to stop and the truck would shut off then I could start it right back up. All the other times were in different weather conditions always going slow or starting from a stop when it dies. ![]() I am about to put new gears, tires, wheels, and a chip in the truck and but want to figure this problem out first. ![]() It also vibrates at between 30-50 mph but I think that is my tires. |

CPS-Cam position sensor, classic symtoms. About 25 bucks from the dealer now, buy two while your at it, and always carry a spare.

Mine does this also. It seems to dislike high electrical demands. It used to die every time I hit the brakes when towing a trailer with electric brakes. I doubled the size of the wire running to the trailer and fixed that problem. Now it just stumbles every now and then when I open the driver's door. If it's not the CPS, check the batteries and cables.
