hard start

I have a 89 f350 7.3, start sometimes, sounds like the engen is locked after few trys it will roll over and start acts like hydro lock , I have replaced starter 2 Xs in a week, new 800 cold crank batterys, new alt, reg, presure checked block and colling system ok. it will run great once started than turn off set for around houre than acts like locked up after several cranks or hits from started it will start but today it actualy broke the bendix in the starter and yesterday I just put my 2nd starter in , 3 days. and it is a motorcraft any hints on what to do or check next . in a week I have paid $300 in tow bills and $800 in parts and labor just to have the same problem help please
