06 6.0 tack moves up and down and wont shift till warm

Hi again
I hope some one can help. I have a problem in the morning when it is cool my truck starts good but when I try to go down the road it wants to skip I can see the tack will reach 2000 then drop to 1750 and back up feels like I am hooked to something very heavy. after the temps all come up the truck runs fine except that in over drive at low rpms there is a skip almost like it is trying to down shift but does not. if I step on it everythings works correctly it down shifts and goes with no skip

any help or ideas would be very thankful

thanks in advance
Desmond

Sounds like injectors but to be safe check your batteries and ficm voltage first and have your batteries load tested individually first along with alternators checked. If those check out than it sounds like your spool valves on the injectors are crapping out. Mine did the same thing and I replaced the injectors and haven't had a problems since.
