No fuel
Stuck on the side of the road for the past 3hrs...Truck died goin through an intersection, started up after 10 minutes, now will idle smooth, once it gets to 1500 rpms it starts cutting out and the service engine soon light comes on. After idling for 10-15. Minutes it will slowly shutter and die. Replaced fuel filter and CPS, tank is full, no blown fuses.

Have you confirmed this is a delivery problem? After it dies, open the yellow lever and drain the bowl into something to judge what level of fuel remains. A single turn of the key, for 15sec., should refill the housing to compare.
That should tell you if, when it died, it ran out of fuel to that point. |

Man im ticked...It ended up being a faulty CPS that I had replaced that morning. I put in a new fuel pump this morning and drove for 10 miles, died while sitting at Oreillys, replaced the CPS with another one and drove 2.5 hours home with no problems...Live and learn, I guess
