2003 Powerstroke 6.0 ICP Problem

Ok well here gose. I was told to post about this and ask in here by a guy in the chat.

I have a 2003 Ford King Ranch 350 6.0 ltr. Last week I noticed it leaking massive amounts of oil. I looked online to see of any problems about the trucks all I found was "O" rings and HPOP problems and that wasn't where this was coming from. So I parked it and had it towed to Ford Service department. I was informed by FMSD that it was a bad ICP sensor and it would cost me over 950.00 usd to get it fixed. Now when looking online again the sensor is only 150.00 usd. Where are all of these charges coming from !??! Also is this something I could maby attempt to fix on my own. If I can fix it on my own is there any one here that has any engine diagrams for the part and how to fix it ? If there is any one that can help for give me some information I would be very grateful.

Thanks
Blake Cox
