HELP!!! Leaking oil like crazy before 700 mile trip (TWIN CITIES)

My truck has had a slight oil leak for a few months now, had oil in the valley in front and back. ALways figured it was the hpop o rings and that I would get to them eventully. Today I took off from a stop light and pulled into a gas station where oil was burning on my pipes and peeing out like crazy from the bottom. I was very close to home so I decided to get there before it was all gone. I got home and it leaked a little more. But now that I am trying to find it before I drive to Canada on friday its not coming out like it was before. I was watching all that I could see from up top while the engine is running and someone reving it up and the hpop lines are dry. Need help asap on where else this could be coming from and leaking down the back of the motor. I just dont get how it could be so bad for one second then not while I am trying to find it. If anyone has any ideas I NEED to have this fixed before friday morning. Thanks in advance Josh

It's probably HPOP. That's about the only thing that could leak that bad.

The test port plug on the back of the head will do that. That's where mine leaked from it was a mess.

I am looking at your write up right now for the hpop is it the one on the hpop closer to the turbo where it actually screws in and out ?

I think there's plugs on the end of the oil rail, on the back of the heads.
There is at least one plug up on top of each rail too.

I had a feeling it was coming one of the lines from the hpop to the head. I thought it looked like the fresh oil was collecting there. I will have to check into that tomorrow morning is there a gasket right there as well ?

That is an HPOP line feeding the head.
Do you know how an HEUI motor works? Cause I don't see how you'd think air would be in there.
