marvel mystery oil???

Hey. I have a 97 f250 psd. I put a can of marvel mystery oil in the oil yesterday and today my rear main seal started leaking. Is this just a coinidence or not???? Pls help

why did you put that in your oil? there are only two things I would ever put in my oil and those are archoil and revx. also, I highly doubt it's your rear main

Thks for reply. I put in one new injector from beans diesel and in paperwork it said u need to treat injector from fuel and oil side. I thought the mystery oil would be fine. I have used it in the fuel tank before.on bottle it says for oil and gas. I sure hope i havent screwed something up.

I you probably havent screwed anything up, its probably just a coincidence that you developed a leak. unless you spilled some oil in the valley when you were working on it.
