2006 6.0 No Start
Good Morning all,
I have a 2006 PSD that will not start, hot or cold. I have checked to make sure im getting fuel to the filter on top of motor, and i am getting plenty of pressure there. I pulled codes, and it had a total of 18. 16 of them were injector codes, and the other 2 were EGR codes. When cranking, the oil pressure gauge does not come up at all. We pulled filter off top of motor, and held the spring down, and it will fill bowl at low PSI. If anyone has any ideas to throw around, let me know. Thanks!! |

What injector codes does it have? Balance/contribution, or circuit issues or both?
Knowing what you said, I'd look at the FICM first |

Truck was throwing both on all 8 cylenders. To me, it sounds like HPOP, but at the same time, FICM is pheasable too. Also, when cranking, call me crazy, but it doesnt have any injector noise to it. you cant hear them pumping like you can on most of the 6.0 i have messed with. The motor has plenty of compression to it though, just doesnt sound like a 6 liter when trying to start it.

Okay, tested FIcm today. Drops down to 28 volts when key is first turned on. Only gets 48 sometimes. Any suggestions?
