Oil leak help!

I have a 99 7.3 that has developed a gushing leak near the rear of the motor. I went into the store yesterday and there was a 6in round puddle under the truck coming from the inspection cover. The valley looks dry, I took the inspection cover off and the flywheel and flexplate are dry!? I heard there is a sensor near the back of the motor passengers side that leaks and it will look just like a rear main seal?! I don't think rear main cause of the dryness of the flexplate/converter. The starter is covered. I saw some dry oil on the down pipe. Please help, I don't have cash to take it to someone, my wife is 6mo pregnant. We have a camping trip scheduled for 2 weeks from now! need help!

Here's an interesting video that might help, BUT I have to warn you about this guy,,,, he makes Great Videos, that Does NOT make him infallible though. He's got some really GOOFY theories (not about this though) So, don't take him as your Guru, as many do Confirm his advice on anything else he says
