Losing coolant from front, water pump?

Traveling with my family and travel trailer. Everything was OK for a while, ECT started to climb and fan did not come on this time. Temp got to 249 before I could get off the highway. Coolant is visibly leaking on the front of the engine, none out the degas. What are my steps here to diagnose this problem? Pics coming....

Very hard to see, but there's coolant pretty much everywhere.

The bottom radiator hose is soft and feels empty. Not a good feeling.
