Problem with CPS?
Help! I've got a 1999 F250 7.3 with 122 thousand miles. Last few years it would infrequently surge violently usually when cold and first taking off. About a month ago it started doing it continually and stalling whenever I slowed down, also the SES light would come on (until restarted). I have an 2004 Superchip that I leave on Towsafe and when I returned the truck to stock settings it ran better but still sounded terrible like it was missing. DTC gave me P0603, I had the CAM sensor replaced. It stalled a few times initially but overall ran alright even with the Tow safe reinstalled for a couple weeks. Now I'm getting P0603 and P0644 and its stallin and running rough again with intermittent SES light. If this sounds like the CPS how do I know I'm getting a newer (improved one). Any advice? Thanks. John

Codes
The first time this started it was only showing P0603. After changing the CAM sensor, no problem for two weeks now P0603 and P0644. Those are the only codes per the Superchip diagnostic.
