Wont Start and in need ASAP

Ok i got a early 99 PSD. I just hauled a 7000lbs trailer with 4 sleds in it for up north, ran it for 4 hours straight got home, dropped the trailor unloaded started it back up ran to the gas station put 50 bucks in it because i was on a quarter and do not like running it low. Well on the way back i get on my street and it starts to die spitting and sounds loud and just dies rolling. I threw it in N and tried to start it. It started but i had to hold the gas 50% and it would not move but 10 MPH. Luckly i pulled in my driveway and it was done. I tried to start again it started bearly just loud as all heck, than died. Will not start back up. CPS is good and the tach does lift. The fuel bowl will not fill. The fuel pump does run but i beleive it does not carry the fuel up. Any ideas would be great. I beleive it is the fuel pump but before i dump the kind of money i wanted another few opinions. Thank you for all of your time and help. John

i would say fuel pump, is there also a chance of clogged fuel lines, or fliters?

Key word GAS. Maybe you put gas in it. You said you stepped on the gas and got gas at the gas station. A better term to use is throttle and fuel station. I'm only saying this because working as a general contractor and owning water trucks, bobcats, and Diesel powered equipment if you tell a labor to fill it with gas they will fill it with gas. Most likely the cheap stuff to. I've also had guys steel red dye to fill there 1/4 ton gas trucks and I just laughed when they said my fuel is making there truck run bad. I just keep correcting people so I don't run into a gas in a diesel vehicle situation.

Could be fuel filters or a fuse or a bad pickup in the tank.
