Truck keeps blowing out HPOP oil seal

Yesterday my HPOP quit pumping and after taking it off I noticed that it was leaking oil from a seal. After replacing it with an extra that my dad had I started the truck back up and after about five minutes of running it it died. Took the HPOP off and it had blown another seal. I bought another pump from the junk yard and put it on and it did it again right away. I have never seen or heard about anything like this, please help. I have a 95 powerstroke.

what seal? the one where the hpop meets the front cover? My truck did the same thing and it was because one of the bolts had pulled the threads out. luckily I used a helicoil kit and drilled, retapped etc.. and got it fixed. You should look into that and see if one of the bolt holes is stripped. It does not take very much force to pull the threads out because it is pretty soft aluminum.
