Angry It finally happened :(

Well my new 05 has started to puke out the dagas bottle. I need some advice on where to go from here. I'm going to replace the cap first to see if it stops it, im hopeing it will cuz my rig has almost 160K on it. If it's not the cap where do i go from there? Is there a way to test and see if i lifted the heads? I'm detuning the truck as i type this so hopfully lessen the chance of it puking anymore. Anyhelp would be great, Thanks guys

just because it pukes doesn't not ALWAY mean the HG's are blown. Replace the cap..see what that does. when does it puke? whats the water temp? whats the oil temp? A clogged oil cooler can cause puking. A bad EGR cooler can cause puking..

Also make sure it's had the recall and the bottle full line is correct and not over-filled.

I'm not sure of the temps. but it only happends under hard throttle i have gotten some new tunes lately and been toying with them so im sure that has something to do with it. The tunes have the egr shut off. I'm going to change the cap later today and see if that fixes it.

The recall was done, and it always stays at the bottem of the line. I had forgotton about the recall. and had to run out there and check to see if it was done, sure enough it had the little sticker on there.

yeah i took a chance with this highmilage truck. hoping it would be a good one. but we will see. I noticed that it had green coolant in it. So im having it flushed at work today along with the new cap and dfusers coolant filter kit put on.

I got some remakes from Bill that are "updates" But i have been mostly running Matts aggressive race file @ spartan diesel.

Aww crap Bobby...I hope that its just the cap or something minor. I would definitely take everyones advice and try all the fixes before I would worry about the HG.
