7.3 fuel line leak
I've got an 02 7.3 with a fuel line blasting fuel all over the to side of my motor. It comes from the bowl to the drivers side head. I can't find a replacement online anywhere. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong name for the part, but I need a replacement asap. Someone please let me know what this is called and where I can find it. Thank you in advance for any help.

Probably have to order from a dealer. Is it leaking from the nut that screws on to the head fitting, or from the line? The line has a rubber washer bushing thing in the end that slips between the line and the compression nut thing on the end. If its deteriorated then it will leak. You can get them from dieselorings.com

I just went outside to check it out and it looks to be the 3/8 or so hard line going into the fuel bowl that is leaking and spraying onto the braided line. Any way I can patch this? Maybe braze the hole closed or splice in a new piece of line? I'm guessing this line is the main feed. It seems to have a good amount of pressure since it's pretty much vaporizing the fuel that it's spraying out.

The bigger line that's on the side of the bowl going towards the drivers side of the truck is the return line, the feed line is on the back side I believe. You might take the line loose and cut it with some tubing cutters and. Then piece it back together with a piece of fuel line and clamps. I wouldnt braze it with the diesel running through the line or the residue in the line. Just asking for trouble.
