99 7.3 not getting fuel

I have a 99 7.3 powerstroke that is not getting fuel to the pump. I changed the pump and made sure the sock was clean in the tank. I'm puzzled at whats wrong and I'm new to the diesel world so all help is appreciated.

Have you checked for voltage at the pump? Can you tell the pump is actually running?? If so take the supply line off the pump and run it into a bucket full of clean fuel. If it pumps fine then you either have a hole in the supply line or the sending unit is cracked above where the fuel is in the tank.

Ok thanks.. the fuel pump I just put on last night. I was told to pressurize the tank I'm still tryin everything
