massive oil leak over pressurized reservoir

hey guys i need some help im about to put a bullet in my head, i have a 99 f550 late 99 not early 99, i just changed the orings in my oil cooler and used the truck on saturday about 5 hours, came home parked the truck, sunday morning during warm up the high pressure oil reservoir cracked the lid and the reservoir itself, needless to say oil went everywhere, noone i talked to could come up with a reason this happened, no one really ever saw it happen before, soo i chaned both parts, drove 5 miles down the road and now i have a new oil leak looks like just under the reservoir coming from the front engine cover that houses the hpop gear and part of the oil reservoir, basically im assuming that somehow the oil reservoir is becoming pressurized by high pressure oil and causing serious oil leaks. im assuming that theres a check ball not checking or the high preasure pump is back flowing and causing problems, anyone have any idea what i should check, im pretty sure i didnt do anythign wrong when doing the cooler orings but anything is possible please any advice would help im almost ready to fire slugs at my truck and call it a day!

97 F350

Hi! Has any one answered your questions on your leaks?
I have a 97 F350. I change the HPOP, its gasket and the reservoir gasket.
I know have a huge leak on the driver side reservoir gasket. I have removed and cleaned it twice and still a huge leak. If you hear from otherd on your problem Please pass them my difficulty and respond please to the forum or my email address qcrf@q.com.
I will do the same for your. Carl
