05 6.0 bogging when in over drive

Please help. Truck as running fine. been hauling campers all over. filled up the other night and the next morning hooked up to a camper hit the road and felt it studdering and bucking. if I hit the throttle and the truck goes into passing gear it smooths right on out. but as soon and its back out of passing gear its right back. And my mpg has dropped big time. I make my living hauling these campers and now ive lost this weeks pay GrRRRr.. It dies do it with out a load on it also. so not just with a load. this is my first 6.0 so im lost. I did change both filters and no change.

Thanks for any help.

By overdrive I assume you mean when the converter locks in 5th? If thats the case I would suspect a possible torque converter issue, sounds like your lock-up clutch is slipping. Could be the converter itself or a fluid circuit issue. Don't know alot about the 5R110 though, I only mess with GM trannies right now. Just my $.02
