2000 F350 oil in fuel filter
Help. I just checked my oil and it was very low after just several miles. Then the fuel filter blew the gasket under cap. I replaced the fuel filter and I found it has oil in the fuel. No oil in radiator or coolant tank. I replaced the fuel filter and gasket, I test drove it and it blew the new fuel filter gasket within 1 mile. Slight smoke at idle speed, engine is running fine, no knocks or miss firing.

Sounds Like you blew an O-ring on an Injector(s). The Oil Rail to the Injectors is a Higher pressure than the Fuel system. If an O-Ring Blew the Oil would be able to force it's way into the Fuel System. This would also lead to Oil being in the Fuel Tank as well. Being your Truck is a 2000 I am Assuming High Miles, Is this Correct? I do not remember what Mileage they reccomend Changing the Injector O-Rings at. Hopefull ysomeone else can chime in on that. If you have to tear it apart you might want to read up in here on other things to do while your in there.
