2000 f250 dies when clutch pushed in
I have a 2000 f250 with an edge Eco programmer on it and when I push the clutch in after running it hard it dies. I took the edge off and it hasn't done it yet is this a common problem with edge or do I need to look at a CPs or anything else

I have never worked on a powerstroke with this problem but did encounter it on a diesel tractor once. It turned out that the problem was not the clutch but was rpm dropping to fast, if I went from like 1500-2000 and pushed in the clutch as I throttled down it died. You didn't say if this was when you were down shifting or not but for me the problem was a metering valve after the fuel pump that was not reducing fuel pressure fast enough after getting off the throttle. I have never worked in depth on a 7.3 injection system so I can't be too specific to your problem but I would try reving it up in neutral and quickly letting off and seeing if it dies. Good luck.
