1996 powerstroke oil leak
Ok gentelmen I have a 1996 f-250 that is having an oil leak, I'm not at home right now my wife has the truck. She was tarking it through inspection and it started to leak oil on the right side by the starter, it only leaks then the truck is running. From the picture she sent it looks like a plug, maybe, with a wire running into it.

Dipstick Tube O ring - Inside the pan
This is just the write up on here. It's easy, just be careful basically. Also, just search other forums. I'm sure there's other write ups for this. Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines Here's a little 'kit' with orings for it. And instructions for it too. http://www.dieselorings.com/docs/dipstikflange.pdf |

Thank you for the info. Unfortunately I’m not there to fix so hopefully my son in law can take care of this. I will send along to him.
