HPOP

05 F-350, just replaced my EGR with a by pass, drove it a mile and would not start back, i was told it may be the HPOP????? how does one effect the other and does anyone have a rough price to replace?? help just spent $1200 on the by pass

They are not related but could it be possible the place that did the install disconnected something and forgot to plug it back in or it came loose. $1200 for an EGR delete seems high. Check your STC fitting to see if it's leaking, it's a common issue.

i thought that was a little high!!! but when u go down the road and it looks like you are fogging for bugs, i guess i need to do something. that was my thought that the installer may have forgot to plug up something. any idea what is could be??
