Another 6.0 Hard cold start

I Have a 2006 F250 with 76k and every time the motor is cold it takes 3-5sec to start.I've read up on some cold start issues and i did a few basic test. Also the truck dose not smoke at all and when it dose fire it dose run smooth.Im in California so 30* is really not that cold.

My battery volts are 12.5 key off
Key on 11.4-11.5
when i crank it drops to 10.4-10.5.

The batterys are brand new from ford when i picked up the truck about a month ago and they also checked the FICM and they say it checks ok good. What could it be? should i check the FICM with a volt meter?

Any help would be great.

start with the simple check your ficm to see what it is whith key on then check it when it is running, but also a 3 second start really isnt that bad its once you get above the 5 second start is when you should worry or so i have been told. Have you replaced the stc fitting on the hpop yet?

Some one let me know if this is weard..I turn the key on and the coil light on the dash when cold stays on for about 5 sec and durning that time the Pump is still buzzing for about 10-13sec..When the truck is hot the coil light is on for 1 sec if that and the pump noise is on for about 2-3 sec..Also the truck starts fine when warm.

the coil light is the glow plug light,it will stay on longer when the engine is cold, the noise is the fuel pump and the injectors cycling fuel. your truck seems normal

What i was trying to get at with my question is the pump going bad? A few of my work trucks the pump only stays on for about 5 sec then turns off while the coil light stays on for a few more sec..Yes i know the coil light heats up the glow plugs and the pump is priming the system. Could i have air pockets in the system?
