Help remove codes..

My 04 f250 is going in shop for egr problems...I had a Edge chip and it has been removed.. Question how do I clear the codes? If they flash it will it show codes thus voiding my warranty?

i would like to know how to do this too so when i get my chip and it breaks something i can hide it

you can unhook the batteries for a little bit and then rconnect them, the only problem is it will have to be driven at least a hundred miles or so to run it thru enough drive cycles to allow the pcm to show a pass code or even the code for the problem you have , if you take it in with out drive time it will show a p1000 code and they will know its been tampered with

Thanks for the info, to bad my truck won't run... hopefully they will miss the codes.... I have a new '08 ordered and it should be in soon... I'm going to have an SCT put on the 04 when it comes back..
